THE ONLY WAY TO SPEND WOMEN’S DAY
Music. Wine. Food. Family. And six of SA’s top musicians.
In partnership with Kaya FM 95.9 and Johannesburg City Parks
Jo’burg is buzzing with the news that in just two weeks, six of South Africa’s iconic musicians and bands will be playing live on National Women’s Day at Emmarentia Live on Tuesday 9 August.
Spoil the women in your life and book your ticket and spot on the lawn to watch, dance and sing along to Mango Groove, Freshlyground, Mi Casa, Gangs of Ballet, Goodluck and Bad Peter.
Emmarentia Dam will be transformed into a festival playground complete with wine and beer gardens, 20 gourmet craft food trucks (serving an array of dishes including Halaal and vegetarian), three festival areas, colourful décor, and a dedicated kids play area.
Pack your picnic baskets and gear for a great day out in the Joburg winter sunshine with your friends and family.
To top it all off, we’ll have a cashless system to make it easier and quicker for you to get your wine, craft beer, food and soft drinks for the kids!
Make sure you come dressed in jeans because the Edgars team will be on hand to help customize your denim, while pampering will be the order of the day.
Festival-goers should also head to the Savanna cider garden for chilled Savanna Dry Draught throughout the day, and enjoy a flute or two of delicious JC Le Roux.
