C-MAX ROLLER DERBY

HOME SEASON 2015

OPENS ON

28TH MARCH

C-Max Roller Derby League kicks off its 2015 Home Season, ‘Fight to the Finish’, this March, fresh off the back of a highly successful trip to the Blood And Thunder Roller Derby World Cup in Dallas, Texas last December.

The girls are back in their home teams in Johannesburg and ready to ‘fight to the finish’ and give it their all to win the championship and establish ranking within the league.

With bouts lined up for each team for the next 3 months, the Slam Damsels, the Thundering Hellcats and The Raging Warmones will be battling it out on the flat track for the highly coveted local trophy, currently held by The Raging Warmones or as they are lovingly known, ‘The Pink Peril’.

Women’s Roller Derby has grown exponentially in South Africa over the past three years and with leagues and teams sprouting up across the country, C-Max RDL still holds the place as the founding and leading league in the country – lifting the sport to new heights through international tournaments, boot camps, intensive training with top coaches and a group of highly dedicated skaters.

The first bout is scheduled to take place at Modderfontein Peace Street Sports Centre on the 28th March and will be between The Thundering Hellcats and The Slam Damsels.  Tickets available at the door.
